No matter how many times I go, I never tire of watching the skaters, bikers, and skateboarders at Chicago’s Grant Park Skate Park. And this fall day was no exception. We had the perfect combination – seasonably warm fall temperatures, bright sunshine, camera in tow, and wheels, wheels, wheels!
I loved it –watching these athletes riding the rails or soaring over steps, or just zipping along…. I loved it all! I hope you can see my joy as you review these 5* images from that beautiful day.
The theme here is up in the air, whether it is:
- Rising UP the stair feature
- Jes’ Showing Off: Anybody can move along on four wheels!
- Jumping, Camera Man in Tow: The must have accessory at the skate park is someone with a camera.
- Soaring Over the Rail
These fun fall days are over for this year. The lower winter temperatures are already here (brrr!), and we have had our first winter storm. More to come, I’m sure. But I expect that it will be a few months before we are able to meet up at the Grant Park Skate Park. In the meantime, these will have to hold me over.
